Positive Reinforcement

Last night while discussing how our newly set goals were coming along, Nicole told me that if she was going to clean up the clutter around her side of the bed that I needed to do the same. I responded with some sarcastic remark and Nicole retorted, "you need to learn how to take some positive reinforcement." Something didn't sound quite right and I concluded that she didn't mean to say "positive reinforcement", so I took a stab at reading her brain again and said with a smile, "did you mean to say constructive criticism?" She broke into a fit of laughter and barely got out, "Yes, learn to take that too!"
